Zoning Letter Requests
To submit an application in person, please send or bring a $25.00 fee (Cash or Checks ONLY) to the City of Planning Department on the third floor of City Hall located at 200 N Castle Heights Avenue. Please make sure your email address is legible on the application so a completed zoning letter can be sent.
Zoning Purpose
Zoning divides the City into districts for the purpose of regulating land use and development. Each district has specific requirements regarding uses allowed, building heights, minimum setbacks from property lines, lot coverage and minimum lot area.
Title 14 - Zoning Code
Title 14 Planning and Zoning, is known as the “Zoning Ordinance of the City of Lebanon, Tennessee”. The “Official Zoning Atlas of Lebanon, Tennessee” (atlas) and “Major Thoroughfare Plan” (plan) are also considered part of Title 14. (Ordinance 83-501)
As part of the City of Lebanon Municipal Code, Title 14 - Zoning Code deals with the zoning regulations and districts in accordance with a comprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting the public health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity, and general welfare of the community.
