Business Highlight for February

Permobil

Since 1967, Permobil™ has led the industry with rugged, dependable, comfortable, custom-built personal mobility systems. Its North American headquarters are located in Lebanon, Tennessee in a state-of-the-art eco-friendly facility that produces individualized power chairs for adults and children with a wide range of disabilities.

Because each chair is completely custom, a single, highly skilled operator works on the product to make sure it is designed specifically for the individual who placed the order. Permobil currently offers about 22 different models, but there are over 1.3 million different variations of the way that their chairs can be assembled.

The company sites location, access to a high-quality work force and our business-friendly environment as reasons why Permobil has seen such success being located in Tennessee.

City of Lebanon Retirees April 2016 meeting

Posted to Retirees by Pam Denny

City of Lebanon, Tennessee Retirees is comprised of a group of people who have retired from the City of Lebanon, Tennessee municipal government.

Our group meets at Shoney's Restaurant at 9:00 am on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from September to May.

Our next meeting is on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 9 am.  Hope to see everyone there!  Our last meeting until September will be May 10th.

Thoughts & prayers go out to the family of Pee Wee (Tommy) Hunt, who passed
away on March 22nd. Pee Wee, who was retired from the Maintenance Dept., was a semi-regular attendee at our monthly breakfasts. We will miss his colorful personality.

Prayers & concern also continue for Tommy Halbert, who is at Southern Manor.

Attendees at our last breakfast included
Wallace & Sue Alsup, Butch Arnold, Raymond & Mary Lou Bay, Don & Joyce Fox,
David Gibbs, James Lenning, Betty Marlin, Joyce & David Thompson, and myself.

This blog is created and maintained by Pam Denny.  Members are welcome to join our Facebook page (City of Lebanon, Tennessee Retirees") and post concerns there. A paper copy of the monthly newsletter is emailed to those who wish it; paper copies are mailed to those who prefer that.

If you have any news about a retiree, please e-mail me at snoopy5481@aol.com.
