Zone 1 service will begin on the first Monday of each month. Citizens will need to place all trimmings, limbs, bagged grass clippings, and bagged leaves out by 6:00a.m. on the first Monday. City workers will make one run through the zone, so please have your items out by 6:00 a.m. on Monday morning.

If the first Monday falls on a holiday, Zone 1 service will begin on Tuesday. Please consult the calendar for specific start dates.  

This service is provided for the disposal of limbs, brush, and leaves related to the resident’s routine and normal maintenance of trees, bushes, and shrubs on the resident’s occupied property. A resident is defined as a single-family home or duplex.

The maximum diameter of limbs that will be picked up is 6 inches. Maximum length is 8 feet.

Pile should not exceed 10’ in width, 8’ in length (depth from ROW) and 5’ in height.

Service is provided to homes located on public streets. Vacant lots are not served.

The Limbs, brush and leaves must be piled within six (6) to eight (8) feet of the paved roadway. Pile should not be placed in the ditch or obstruct visibility of the traveling public. Limbs must be separated from the leaves.

Grass clippings must be bagged. Leaves must be bagged except when the City operates the fall/winter leaf vacuum program.

Items That Cannot Be Picked Up:

Root balls, stumps, or logs.

Plastic, metal, or wire.

The City Does Not Pick Up After Commercial Contractors.
