PURPOSE:          

 

1)         To amend the Future Land Use Plan of the City of Lebanon, Tennessee, by changing 308, 310, 312 & 314 Carver Lane from RSM (Suburban Medium Density Residential) and RSL (Suburban Low Density Residential) to RHD (High Density Residential), by Paul Corder, Planning Director. (Tax Map 57, Parcel 66, and Tax Map 58, Parcels 1.01 & 1.02) (Request by Mark Vastola) (Planning Commission recommended denial by a vote of 6-0 at their September 28, 2021 meeting) (Reference Ordinance No. 21-6297)

 

2)         To amend the Official Zoning Atlas of the City of Lebanon , Tennessee, by changing 308, 310, 312 & 314 Carver Lane from RS20 (Low Density Residential District) to RM6 (High Density Residential District) in Ward 5, by Paul Corder, Planning Director. (Approximately 19 acres; Tax Map 57, Parcel 66, and Tax Map 58, Parcels 1.01 & 1.02) (Request by Mark Vastola) (Planning Commission recommended denial by a vote of 6-0 at their September 28, 2021 meeting) (Reference Ordinance No. 21-6298)

 

3)         To amend the Official Zoning Atlas of the City of Lebanon, Tennessee, by requesting zoning approval of about five acres at 520 Crowell Lane to SP (Specific Plan) in Ward 4, by Paul Corder, Planning Director. (Tax Map 68, Parcel 51.07) (Request by K2 Development) (Planning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 6-0 at their September 28, 2021 meeting) (Reference Ordinance No. 21-6299)

 

4)         To amend the Official Zoning Atlas of the City of Lebanon, Tennessee, by requesting zoning approval of about 6.5 acres at 711, 713 & 715 Williams Street and unaddressed property on Park Avenue to SP (Specific Plan) in Ward 2, by Paul Corder, Planning Director. (Tax Map 67P, Group A, Parcels 1.00, 2.00, 3.00 & 4.00) (Request by Sage Legacy, LLC) (Planning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 6-0 at their September 28, 2021 meeting) (Reference Ordinance No. 21-6300

 

5)         To amend the Official Zoning Atlas of the City of Lebanon, Tennessee, by requesting zoning approval of about 124.5 acres at unaddressed property on South Hartmann Drive to SP (Specific Plan) in Ward 3, by Paul Corder, Planning Director. (Tax Map 81, Parcel 122.02) (Request by Suncrest Real Estate & Land) (Planning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 6-0 at their September 28, 2021 meeting) (Reference Ordinance No. 21-6301)

 

6)         To amend the Official Zoning Atlas of the City of Lebanon, Tennessee, by requesting zoning approval of about 40 acres at unaddressed property on Bettis Road to SP (Specific Plan) in Ward 4, by Paul Corder, Planning Director. (Tax Map 94, Parcel 31.08) (Request by Chandler LLC) (Planning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 6-0 at their September 28, 2021 meeting) (Reference Ordinance No. 21-6302)

 

7)         To amend Title 14, Chapter 8 Development Standards, Section 14.807 Circulation and Mobility, Subsection F Pedestrian Circulation, 3. Payment in lieu of sidewalks (14.807.F.3) to require sidewalks or payment in lieu of sidewalks on all new developments, by Paul Corder, Planning Director. (Request by Councilor Camille Burdine) (Planning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 6-0 at their September 28, 2021 meeting) (Reference Ordinance No. 21-6303)

 

8)        To amend Title 14, Lebanon Zoning Code, Chapter 6 and Chapter 12 to remove automotive repair and cleaning from the allowed uses to the conditional uses in the CG Zoning District, by Councilor Camille Burdine. (Planning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 6-0 at their September 28, 2021 meeting) (Reference Ordinance No. 21-6304)

 

9)        To set a demolition moratorium on structures in areas being considered for Historic Preservation Districts and landmarks, by Mayor Rick Bell, and John Foutch, Historic Preservation Commission Chairman. (Reference Ordinance No. 21-6308)
