After meeting with Department Heads this afternoon, Mayor Bell has determined the Lebanon city offices will remain closed tomorrow, February 19th. The Jimmy Floyd Family Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Depending upon the severity of the weather tonight, we plan to have the Utilities drive-thru window at 200 North Castle Heights Avenue open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Engineering, Planning & Building Inspection paperwork can be dropped off at the drive-thru window. Customers are encouraged to make utility payments on-line.
Public Works will continue maintaining the main roadways and side streets throughout the evening. Our Police Department Emergency Services Unit personnel will also be out monitoring the roads.
Due to the dangerous road conditions, as well as the landfill being closed, Sanitation & Recycling will not pickup on Friday. Recycling will be back on schedule Monday & Tuesday and Sanitation pickup will be running as usual on Tuesday. We understand you will have extra trash, so bags of trash may be placed beside your can next week and they will be picked up.
Please use an abundance of caution and stay at home if at all possible. We appreciate your understanding.
