There will be no permit charge.

If the demolition is for a residential property, the permit will be issued at the time of application with an indicated date of when demolition can begin. If the demolition is for a commercial/industrial property, the utilities will be disconnected within three (3) business days of the application date. Contact will need to be made with the State Environmental Office at 615-532-6828 or by the property owner or demolition contactor to obtain a letter of release for asbestos. Once the City of Lebanon Building Inspection Office receives the asbestos release letter, the demolition permit can be issued, and demolition can begin.
